The Prime 4 logo looks like a black hole with its accretion disk of matter around it, which is warped accordingly due to the warping of spacetime. Either a nice coincidence or it has something to do with the setting.

I just hope Nintendo isn’t shafting link into the background in favor for Zelda. I was already feeling it with BOTW and TOTK, but I’m getting worried. I still want to play as Link, and experience Link’s adventure through his eyes. I feel like the last 2 games have been all about Zelda, almost like Link is a background character in his own game. Don’t get me wrong, I love that Zelda is getting her own game, but is this a spinoff or a mainline? Is Link being shafted? I dunno, I have mixed feelings about this. I’m stoked that Zelda’s getting her own game, but not at the expense of Link. Maybe it’s a once a couple of times thing and they’ll go back to having Link as the main character again later on, but please Nintendo, Link is my everything and I don’t want him to be replaced…

I'm just hoping that Kraid will finally appear in Prime because the discarded character models that were designed for him in Prime 1 and 3 were amazing.

This game is gonna make Nintendo a pretty penny. And if it's next gen even more.

As a big fan of this series, even though I've only ever beaten Samus Returns and Dread, I'm looking forward to this so damn much. Yes, I should probably play through the rest of the Primes (Got to the final boss in P1, Bomb Guardian kicks my ass ten ways to Sunday in P2 so gave up there and never had a wii for Corruption) I won't. I already know the main lore behind what I've missed there. I think Sylux is def after that weird diamond looking thing, but I don't think it's Chozo. I think it's some form of crystallized remnant from M Prime. It would make sense with the series being the Prime Saga that the force behind Sylux (corrupted in P3 and probably kept such connections due to his cyborg nature) is actually M Prime but for it to come back, Sylux has to hunt down several such artifacts to sort of rebuild his otherwise master.

The same space pirate music returns including the annoying high pitch noise. I was never a fan of the composer for metroid primes except for phedrana drift. Im still not with what im hearing On 4

MvC Fighting Collection will be out on Switch, PS4, and Steam. Sadly no crossplay. Only PS4 is gonna get physical copies.

I highly doubt this takes place after Super Metroid as from what I can understand, Other M takes straight after it. Since it's called Metroid Prime 4, it's still part of the Metroid Prime time/saga and the overall Metroid Prime series takes place between Metroid 1 1/Zero Mission and Metroid 2/Metroid Samus Returns. Perhaps after Metroid Prime 4, something will cause to lead into Metroid 2, where the Galactic Federation will want Samus to destroy all the Metroids. Or maybe still continue with Metroid Prime 5 if Nintendo wants to for some reason, lol.

I still haven’t played any of the Metroid prime games yet but when I finally buy another switch soon I’ll definitely play the first game remastered. Such a shame 2 and 3 are still stuck on the original Wii.

"Pokémon in my Zelda?!" 😂😂 I never thought about it that way. This was definitely the winner of the Nintendo Direct. Based on the opening scene, I think this game is gonna take place directly after A Link to the Past. Maybe an alternate timeline branch off from ALTTP. That opening fight with Ganon with Zelda trapped in a crystal makes me think of a stylized version of the final fight in ALTTP

It's pretty sad Retro Studios took up the mantle of this game as a cross-gen release of this game with the upcoming release of DKC Returns HD this January will cause some staff to leave the company because of work crunch.
